John Kofi Dapaah is a pianist crossing the boundaries of the classical and jazz world. John has performed in recitals and concerts in Japan, Austria and throughout Canada. (https://www.johndapaah.com)
Roxanne Goodman has a passion for music as an expression of community empowerment and inspiration. She is a talented vocalist who has performed for the Jazz Festival, International Gospel Festival, Oliver Jones Tribute at the Omni Hotel, and many more private engagements in the city of Montreal. Roxanne sees herself as an ‘atmosphere provider' as she dynamically sings jazz, gospel, blues, as well as pop. Her warm and inviting presence allows audience members to feel right at home. MICHAEL CURTIS HANNA is the Detroit born son of pianist/composer Sir Roland Hanna, Michael Curtis Hanna is at home singing soul stirring spirituals as well as vocalise in the style of the great Eddie Jefferson. Michael currently sings in church choirs in Detroit, Toronto and Ottawa as well as at jazz venues in Detroit and Ottawa.
Jean-Philippe Lapensée is a bassist from the Ottawa-Gatineau area. Playing in various bands and styles such as: The Billy Love Band (Rock), Rommel Ribeiro band (Brazilian/World), The Chocolate Hot Pockets (Jazz), HML Trio (Jazz), Sabor de Cuba (Cuban)and many more. JP has mainly been performing in Ottawa/Gatineau, Montréal, Toronto and touring across Ontario/Québec. His studies in Jazz Music performance at Carleton University has also helped him in his musical journey wether it’s performing or teaching.
Jamie Holmes is an active musician on the Ottawa scene and can be seen regularly playing all over the city in a wide variety of musical styles and with a number of different groups. Most notably Jamie performs with The Chocolate Hot Pockets, Thrust, Beats and Keys, Modasaurus and the HML Trio which performs a weekly jazz jam session every Thursday at Brookstreet Hotel. Jamie has become a JUNO nominated drummer, has toured and performed all over North America as well Europe and Australia.
